TORONTO—Blue Jays fans are bracing for a nail-biting Game 7 after their team fell short on Friday night, setting the stage for a winner-takes-all showdown on Saturday.
Sporting a royal blue Toronto Blue Jays jersey, Allie Barahona said she’s confident the Blue Jays will win the highly anticipated Game 7 of the World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Nov. 1, noting she expects the team will keep up the momentum it has had this season. The Blue Jays winning the World Series would be “historical,” she said. Toronto’s team last won the World Series in 1993.
“We’re so ready to have that in our lives,” Barahona told The Epoch Times as she watched Game 6 in the Toronto Blue Jays versus the the Los Angeles Dodgers series at a viewing party at Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto on Oct. 31. “I think we’re in a part of life that we need a little bit of cheering up, and the Blue Jays winning would be more than that.”…
