A suspect in a fatal shooting at Brown University was found dead, officials announced.
Providence police chief Col. Oscar Perez said at a news conference Thursday evening that Claudio Neves Valente, 48, a Brown student and Portuguese national, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The Dec. 13 shooting at Brown University left two dead and nine injured.
