Video footage shows a Michigan sheriff’s deputy’s daring rescue as she climbed into a vehicle to help a dazed man who was driving erratically. The incident was caught on video in Mount Clemens, Michigan, on Sept. 12.
According to the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to reports of the man driving erratically and tried to get him to pull over. But the driver continued at about 5 miles per hour. The deputies pulled alongside the driver, who appeared to be in a daze and seemed unable to comprehend requests.
Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham praised the deputy: “Due to her quick thinking and selfless actions, she safely ended what could have been a tragic situation.”…
