1 Man Arrested After Car Theft Suspects Try to Drive Through Police Barricade in Toronto

One man has been arrested and another suspect remains at large after police say they stole two luxury cars from a parking garage and tried to escape by ramming the vehicles through a police barricade in the Toronto’s downtown area.
Toronto Police Service said as of Sept. 24, the second suspect remains at large.
At around 10 a.m. on Sept. 17, Toronto Police responded to a report of a car theft in progress near King Street West and Portland Street. Officers arrived at an underground parking garage where they confronted two suspects who were attempting to flee in stolen vehicles.
