Authorities Identify 4 of 5 Killed in Plane Crash on Santa Catalina Island

SANTA CATALINA ISLAND, Calif.—Authorities Friday identified the fourth of the five people killed in the crash of a small plane on Santa Catalina Island.
Gonzalo Lubel, 34, was identified Friday by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner as one of the fatalities. His city of residence was not provided.
On Thursday, the medical examiner’s office identified three other people who died: Haris Ali, a 33-year-old Fullerton man; Margaret Mary Fenner, 55; and Ali Reza Safai, a 73-year-old West Hills man.
The identity of the fifth person, a man in his 30s, was withheld, pending notification of his relatives.
According to Federal Aviation Administration records, the plane was registered to Safai, who was previously a flight instructor at now-defunct Santa Monica Aviation based at Santa Monica Airport….
