Halifax Regional Police is continuing its investigation into the sudden death of a 19-year-old woman at a Walmart located in the city’s west end over the weekend after emergency services received a call that an employee was locked in an oven.
Officers were called to the Walmart store on Mumford Road at 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 19 where they found the woman dead, police said in a press release.
“Investigators are working closely with Occupational Health and Safety and the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service to determine the cause and manner of death,” police said in the Oct. 21 statement. “The investigation is in the early stages and no further details are available at this time.”…
