A country-wide recall has been issued for the Stokke YOYO baby stroller due to a braking system defect that Health Canada describes as an “injury hazard.”
The federal health agency is urging parents to “immediately stop” using the recalled product because a flaw in the stroller could cause the parking brake to disengage.
Stokke said it recently identified the braking system issue and opted to recall the units “out of an abundance of caution.”
“Ensuring the wellbeing and safety of the children and families using our products is our main priority,” the company said in its recall notice. “We sincerely apologize for any concern and inconvenience this matter may cause you.”…
