3rd Mediterranean Culinary & Pastry Competition

The 3rd Mediterranean Culinary & Pastry Competition concluded with great success, held from February 1-3, 2025, at the MEC Exhibition Center in Paiania during the 11th Expotrof. The participation was exceptionally high with judges, chefs, pastry chefs and students from Greece, Italy, Cyprus, China, Norway, Egypt, Albania, France, Israel, Tunisia, Armenia, Turkey and Israel.

The judges were impressed by the elevated level of participants who swept away medals. The major winners were Norway in the “Mediterranean Team of the Year” category and Cyprus in the “Mediterranean School of the Year” category.

Also, Greece Now magazine featured pastry chef Kyriaki Andreadi was awarded two medals, Silver and Bronze.

During the three days of the Expotrof, in a packed venue, professionals and non-professionals alike watched with great interest as they followed both the competition and creations presented by participants.
