Με βαρύ τραύμα στο πόδι διακομίστηκε στο Νοσοκομείο «Παπαγεωργίου» στη Θεσσαλονίκη, ένας 33χρονος εργαζόμενος στον σιδηρόδρομο, που σύμφωνα με τις πρώτες πληροφορίες επιχείρησε να ανέβει σε εν κινήσει εμπορική αμαξοστοιχία, κοντά στην Γ’ Είσοδο της ΒΙ.ΠΕ. Σίνδου.

Το ατύχημα συνέβη γύρω στις 9 το πρωί, σε αφύλακτη σιδηροδρομική διάβαση. Στο σημείο έσπευσαν αστυνομικές δυνάμεις και ασθενοφόρο του ΕΚΑΒ που παρέλαβε τον 33χρονο τραυματία. Κατά τις ίδιες πληροφορίες, πρόκειται για εργαζόμενο με ειδικότητα κλειδούχου.
