Εμπρηστική επίθεση σε πάρκινγκ στον Βύρωνα

Φωτιά σε ισόγειο χώρο στάθμευσης στον Βύρωνα σημειώθηκε τα ξημερώματα του Σαββάτου 1 Μαρτίου.

Η φωτιά προκλήθηκε λίγο πριν τις 03:00, ενώ φέρεται να ξέσπασε έπειτα από εμπρηστική επίθεση στον χώρο, που βρίσκεται επί της Λεωφόρου Κύπρου.

Πριν από την πυρκαγιά, που κατέκαψε ένα πολυτελές όχημα μάρκας Mclaren, προηγήθηκε, σύμφωνα με αυτόπτες μάρτυρες, έκρηξη, γεγονός που προκάλεσε αναστάτωση στην ευρύτερη περιοχή.

Για την κατάσβεση της φωτιάς επιχείρησαν 18 πυροσβέστες με πέντε οχήματα της πυροσβεστικής υπηρεσίας, καθώς και ειδικό βραχιονοφόρο όχημα. Η επιχείρηση ολοκληρώθηκε περί τις 05:00.
