French President Emmanuel Macron will convene representatives from all business sectors affected by the tariffs at the Elysee Palace later in the day, his office said on Thursday.
Sales of French wine and spirits are expected to drop at least 20 percent in the United States after Trump revealed his reciprocal tariffs, the Fédération des Exportateurs de Vins & Spiritueux de France (FEVS) said on Wednesday.
FEVS said that “exports are expected to decline by approximately 800 million euros, with this figure dropping to 1.6 billion euros for the EU-27.” …
