New White House Press Policy Ends Preferential Access for AP, Reuters, Bloomberg

The Trump administration is changing the rules governing which journalists are granted close access to the president.
Under new guidelines released Tuesday and reviewed by The Epoch Times, reporters from the three leading wire services—The Associated Press (AP), Reuters, and Bloomberg—will no longer share a dedicated, rotating spot in the White House “press pool.”
For decades, the three organizations enjoyed the privilege of consistently observing the president’s activities up close and posing questions in intimate settings such as the Oval Office and aboard Air Force One.
