Explosion Damages California Fertility Clinic, 1 Believed Dead

An explosion outside a fertility clinic in Palm Springs, California, has left one person presumed dead and caused significant damage to nearby buildings, according to local authorities.
The blast occurred shortly before 11 a.m. on May 17 near the intersection of North Indian Canyon Drive and East Tachevah Drive, the city of Palm Springs said in a statement on social media.
“Palm Springs Police and Fire are currently on scene and request that residents stay away from the area so that emergency crews can work the incident,” official said.
