Police in Regina have arrested and charged two men with several offences, including attempted murder after an 11-year-old girl was shot in Saskatchewan’s capital city.
The charges are linked to an early morning incident on Aug. 11, Regina Police Service said in a press release.
Officers responded to a call from a home at approximately 2 a.m. in the 1000 block of Edgar Street where they found an 11-year-old girl who was suffering from a gunshot wound. The child was taken to hospital with serious injuries, police said.
