Alberta Professor Reinstated After Being Put on Leave Over Charlie Kirk Comments

The University of Alberta has reinstated an assistant law professor who was put on non-disciplinary leave after posting social media comments about the death of U.S. conservative influencer Charlie Kirk.
The university previously told The Epoch Times it was reviewing online comments made by the professor, whom it did not name. The school also did not reveal the comments that sparked the issue.
A university spokesperson said at the time that the professor was put on non-disciplinary leave because of “concerning online comments,” but that details were being withheld due to privacy and safety concerns. The move was a “temporary administrative step” to allow the university to hold “a thorough review,” the spokesperson said….
