The government has officially shut down after lawmakers adjourned early on Tuesday evening with no agreement on government funding. The two sides will return on Wednesday at 10 a.m. ET to vote on ending the shutdown.
Missouri Gov. Mike Kehoe said on Sept. 30 that he has authorized the state’s National Guard to provide administrative and logistical support to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations in the state. The governor’s office announced that National Guard troops have been authorized to assist ICE until Sept. 30 of next year.
