Five people were hospitalized after a helicopter crashed at Huntington Beach, California, on Oct. 11.
The helicopter went down at around 2 p.m. local time on Saturday, according to a statement shared by the City of Huntington Beach. The city said the helicopter came down near a parking lot along the beach between Twin Dolphins Drive and Beach Boulevard.
The city said members of its police and fire departments immediately arrived on the scene and contained the area, after which five individuals were transported to a hospital.
Multiple videos posted on social media purported to show the scene of the crash, with the helicopter appearing to spin out of control shortly after passing over a row of palm trees, and then falling rapidly toward the ground….
