Ontario RCMP say they have dismantled a large synthetic drug lab and seized nearly $10 million worth of drugs.
RCMP said the investigation that led to the bust began in the spring after a “suspicious order of chemicals” placed by a Schomberg business.
“The chemicals ordered are known to police to be used in the production of fentanyl, MDMA, methamphetamine, and for cannabis extraction,” RCMP said in an Oct. 24 news release.
In July 2025, specialized RCMP teams were launched to investigate the owner of the business, Christopher O’Quinn, and two others who police said they suspected were manufacturing illicit substances.
