Zellers Reopens Location in Edmonton Under New Ownership

Canadian retail chain Zellers opened a new location in Edmonton Oct. 30 under new owners.
The new location at Edmonton’s Londonderry Mall is run by Zellers’ new owner Joey Benitah’s company Les Ailes de la Mode Inc. His family has also bought chains such as Fairweather, International Clothiers, and homeware brands Bowring and Bombay, along with launching the millennial-focused home decor store Wyrth in the Greater Toronto Area in 2019.
The reopened Zellers is focused on offering affordable products for the whole family, including men’s, women’s, and kids’ clothing along with household and seasonal items, according to Benitah. The new store does not include pharmaceutical items or toys, nor will Zellers diners be back, although some food and beverage options are being considered for the future….
