Changing course on the release of files related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, President Donald Trump says he would sign legislation compelling the Department of Justice to release the federal documents if such a bill passes the House and Senate and reaches his desk. He’s also calling on House Republicans to vote in favor of releasing the files, saying Republicans have nothing to hide.
The president also announced that he will likely issue tariff dividend checks sometime in the middle of next year. Meanwhile, he says he’s open to speaking directly with Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro as he weighs a decision on whether to launch strikes in Venezuela against drug traffickers in the country….
