Commission Makes Sweeping Recommendations to Counter Beijing’s Aggressive Tactics

The U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission recommended some sweeping changes to counter China’s efforts across several sectors on Nov. 18 in its annual report to Congress.
“The challenges to U.S. interests posed by China are complex, manifold, and rapidly evolving,” said Reva Price, chair of the commission, at a Nov. 18 hearing.
“Without swift and focused action, the United States could face a future where we depend on China for access to the most cutting-edge innovations in fields from medicine to robotics.”
