This comes as the House passed a resolution condemning what it calls the “horrors” of socialism—a vote that took place shortly after Mamdani arrived at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport ahead of his afternoon meeting with the president.
Trump has suggested Thanksgiving as the deadline for Ukraine to accept an American-brokered peace deal with Moscow. The proposed agreement would include concessions from Ukraine, including giving up territory to Russia.
