Two National Guardsmen were shot in Washington, D.C., this afternoon. FBI Director Kash Patel and D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser said at a news conference that they are in critical condition. The suspected shooter, who officials say appeared to be targeting the guardsmen, has been subdued and taken into custody.
