CFIA Updates Pistachio Recall List to Include More Than 200 Products Across Canada 

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has updated its list of pistachio products recalled due to possible salmonella contamination to include more than 200 products nationwide.
The agency’s recall list now includes 241 pistachio and pistachio-containing products of various brands, as of its latest update published on Dec. 12.
The products have been sold online and in multiple provinces across the country, including Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec, and Saskatchewan.
The CFIA first published a recall notification for a pistachio product due to salmonella contamination in July, and additional recalls have been issued as a result of food safety investigation into pistachio products by the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC)….
