Απίθανη Μαρία Πρεβολαράκη. Απέδειξε για άλλη μια φορά την κλάση της, εξασφαλίζοντας τη συμμετοχή της στον τελικό του Ευρωπαϊκού Πρωταθλήματος πάλης για δεύτερη διαδοχική χρονιά. Η Ελληνίδα πρωταθλήτρια έχει ήδη «κλειδώσει» το ασημένιο μετάλλιο και πλέον στοχεύει στην κορυφή και το χρυσό.
Στη διοργάνωση που φιλοξενείται στα Τίρανα, η Πρεβολαράκη ξεκίνησε την πορεία της με εντυπωσιακό τρόπο. Στα προημιτελικά, συνέτριψε με 10-0 τη Γερμανίδα Άνικα Βέντλε, παίρνοντας παράλληλα μια άτυπη ρεβάνς για την ήττα της στους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες του Παρισιού.
Στα ημιτελικά των 53 κιλών αντιμετώπισε την Πολωνή Ροξάνα Ζασίνα. Αν και αναδείχτηκαν ισόπαλες 6-6, η Πρεβολαράκη πέρασε στον επόμενο γύρο με 3-1 στους πόντους πρόκρισης και θα αγωνιστεί στον τελικό της διοργάνωσης, ο οποίος θα γίνει την Παρασκευή (24/4). Η ελληνίδα πρωταθλήτρια βρίσκεται μπροστά σε μία νέα πρόκληση, την οποία θα προσπαθήσει να ξεπεράσει με την εμπειρία και την ικανότητά της.
Αντίπαλος στον τελικό θα είναι η Μαρία Γεφρέμοβα από την Ουκρανία, ώστε να διατηρήσει τα σκήπτρα της στο ευρωπαϊκό στερέωμα της πάλης. Να σημειωθεί ότι αυτή είναι η 6η συμμετοχή της σε τελικό ευρωπαϊκού πρωταθλήματος.
