The Senate passed a $70 billion immigration enforcement package on Friday after an overnight vote-a-rama on Capitol Hill. The Senate voted 52–47 to approve the legislation, with no support from Democrats. The bill funds Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Border Patrol through the remainder of President Donald Trump’s second term, and now heads to the House. The legislation follows months of partisan clashes over immigration enforcement and Homeland Security funding.
