Trump Expands TrumpRx to Over 800 Prescription Drugs

President Donald Trump has announced that his administration is expanding its TrumpRx prescription drug discount program to include another 160 medications, bringing the total number of drugs available through the platform to more than 800.
In a June 5 post on Truth Social, Trump said the expansion would allow TrumpRx.gov to offer discounted pricing for medications that account for roughly four out of every five prescriptions filled in the United States.
“I am pleased to announce that TrumpRx.gov is adding another 160 Prescription Drugs, at highly discounted prices, for a new total of over 800 of the most commonly-used Prescription Drugs,” Trump wrote.
The expansion is the latest move in a broader effort to lower prescription drug costs through so-called “most-favored-nation” pricing, Trump said, describing it as an arrangement under which Americans would pay no more—and ideally less—than consumers in other countries for the same medications….
