Thousands of people across Canada will gather on Oct. 4 for Life Chain, an annual hour of prayer and peaceful public witness in support of preborn children and those affected by abortion.
Organizers expect about 375 Canadian communities to participate in the event from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. in most locations, bringing people together at designated intersections to pray quietly and hold pro-life signs.
