Freedom Convoy organizers Tamara Lich and Chris Barber will once again have freedom of movement after their house arrest ended on Oct. 7.
Lich said in an X post that their house arrest had come to a close and they were moving on to the curfew portion of their sentences: Hers will be complete on Jan. 21, 2027, while Barber’s will be finished in April 2027.
“We’ve hit many milestones together and today marks another,” Lich said. “I couldn’t be more proud to call this man my friend, my co-accused, and my Saskatchewan brother from another mother.”
Lich and Barber were found guilty of mischief in April 2025 for their roles in the 2022 Freedom Convoy protest against COVID-19 vaccine mandates and other pandemic restrictions. Barber was also found guilty of counselling others to disobey a court order….
