US Political Analyst Aidan Smith says a lot of people have “whiplash” at the fact Ron DeSantis endorsed Donald Trump after suspending his presidential campaign.
Mr DeSantis has announced he is suspending his campaign for the Republican presidential nomination.
The Florida Governor made the announcement in a video posted to social media platform X – formerly known as Twitter.
Mr DeSantis said in the video that Mr Trump was “superior” to US President Joe Biden.
“I think a lot of people do have whiplash at the fact that Mr DeSantis endorsed Trump immediately,” Mr Smith told Sky News Australia.
