Over 50,000 Pet Toys Recalled Due to ‘Death’ Risk

Tens of thousands of pet toys sold across the nation have been recalled because the items could pose a “deadly” risk to households that have children.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission issued the recall of around 51,160 packages of the Lil’ Buddies Pet Laser Toy on April 16.
The recall stated that the Chinese-made pet toy made by JC Sales—a small, white laser with blue paw prints on the design and extra batteries provided in the packaging—violates the mandatory standard for consumer products.
“The battery compartment is not secure, making the button cell batteries easily accessible to children, posing a deadly ingestion hazard,” the recall notice posted on Thursday states….
