Following last week’s $60,000 pay cut-off to remain in the campaign, five candidates are still competing to lead the B.C. Conservatives in a race that has had its share of clashes and controversies.
After Rossland-based contractor Warren Hamm left ahead of the cut-off date last week, the remaining candidates are B.C. Conservative MLA Peter Milobar, political commentator Caroline Elliott, entrepreneur Yuri Fulmer, former B.C. Liberal Party cabinet minister Iain Black, and former federal Conservative MP Kerry-Lynne Findlay.
Polls from earlier months point to some front-runners, but things could change by the time the winner of the race is determined by May 30. The party will distribute ballots for members to cast their votes by May 9….
