A quality of life survey by Statistics Canada indicates which provinces have the highest levels of life satisfaction—and one province lags well behind the other nine in its number of satisfied citizens.
StatCan’s quarterly country-wide survey asked residents in each province to rate their satisfaction with life on a one-to-10 scale.
The quarterly survey asked Canadians 15 and older, “how do you feel about your life as a whole right now?”
Individuals who chose 8, 9, or 10 were deemed to have a high level of life satisfaction. Responses of six or seven were categorized in the moderate range, while ratings of five or less reflected significant dissatisfaction….
