Health Canada has recalled certain Zwilling electric kettles due to a defect that can cause the handle to loosen or detach, creating a risk of hot water spills and burn injuries.
The recall affects kettles in the Enfinigy and Enfinigy Pro product lines, whose handles may loosen while the appliance is in use.
“In isolated cases, the product defect may cause hot water to spill from the kettle, creating a risk of scalding injuries to the user or bystanders in the immediate area, including small children,” it said in a May 14 press release.
The recall applies to seven models across the Enfinigy and Enfinigy Pro 1.5-litre electric kettle lines….
