Two automakers are recalling more than 30,000 vehicles due to potential airbag malfunctions that could increase the risk of injury in a crash.
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and Honda both issued recent recall notices because of sensor issues linked to airbag function. Here’s a look at the vehicles impacted by both recalls.
Fiat Chrysler Recall
Fiat Chrysler issued an update last week regarding its recall of 21,194 Jeep Grand Cherokee SUVs after identifying a software problem that may cause the door airbag pressure sensors to fail.
“As a result, the side airbag(s) may not work properly in a crash,” the June 3 update from Transport Canada said….
