NBA Granted Authority to Withhold Most of Terry Rozier’s $26.6 Million Salary Over Sports Betting Case

A motion filed on Wednesday by NBA player Terry Rozier’s attorney reveals the NBA had been granted the authority to withhold most of Terry Rozer’s $26.6 million salary over his alleged role in an illegal sports gambling scheme during the 2022–2023 NBA season.
The previous arbitration ruling revealed Rozier’s intent to change the conditions of his case that determine him to be “in breach of his contractual obligation to play.”
Rozier, 32, was arrested in October and charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud and conspiracy to commit money laundering, following an FBI investigation that also resulted in the arrest of former NBA player Damon Jones and Portland Trail Blazers coach Chauncey Billups….
