President Donald Trump has announced plans for a large-scale Independence Day celebration in Washington for July 4, celebrating the nation’s 250th birthday with a rally, musical performances, and a massive fireworks display.
The event, titled “Tribute to America,” will take place at the Lincoln Memorial and Washington Monument beginning at 7 p.m. ET. Trump said the event will honor the American people, military, history, and the nation’s accomplishments as the country celebrates the 250th anniversary of its founding.
“We are going to host the most spectacular TRUMP RALLY of them all, a ‘TRIBUTE TO AMERICA,’” he said on TruthSocial. He added that the program would conclude with “the LARGEST FIREWORKS SHOW IN HISTORY, right here in our Nation’s Capital.”…
