Canada’s telecom and television complaints watchdog says more than two-thirds of service providers it audited last year demonstrated at least some compliance issued with its public awareness requirements.
The Commission for Complaints for Telecom-Television Services (CCTS) released its annual compliance report cards on Wednesday, measuring how well the providers have fulfilled their obligations around awareness, procedure and finances.
The report says 32 percent of the 37 providers it audited in 2025 were fully compliant with rules to inform their customers about the CCTS on their respective websites, the same as the year prior but down from 35 percent in 2023.
The audit also found that the search function from half of the provider websites did not return information when searching for keywords related to the CCTS and complaints….
