SAN FRANCISCO—The Consulate General of China in San Francisco switched on its floodlights on July 19 during a vigil outside the building attended by more than 100 Falun Gong practitioners marking 27 years of persecution.
Kerry Huang, a longtime coordinator of local Falun Gong activities, told The Epoch Times that this was the first time that floodlights at the consulate building, situated at the corner of Geary Blvd. and Laguna Street, had been used in such a manner.
