President Donald Trump reiterated a strong warning against communism on the last day of the NATO summit, saying he believes it’s taking root in the United States and around the world. Trump told NTD that the idea of the United States becoming communist is one of the greatest threats the country has faced.
“One thing that happens when you go communist is you never come back,” Trump said, adding that countries that have adopted communism will instead experience repression, poverty, and suffering.
