MOUNT HOPE, N.Y.—The New York Air Show is making its 12th annual summer visit to Orange County Airport on Aug. 1 and 2.
Modern as well as historic planes will execute flybys and demonstrations, and attendees will have the opportunity to interact with a field of military aircraft and vehicles.
A top draw will be the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, one of America’s top military flight demonstration teams, who will soar in tight formation in their unique eagle and red-white-and-blue-decorated F-16 Fighting Falcons.
The event will also feature a race between a World War II-era P-51 Mustang fighter plane and a Cyberbeast cybertruck. Other attractions include the West Point “Black Nights” precision Parachute Team, helicopter maneuverability and precision demonstrations by the UH-72 Lakota, and flybys by the historic B-25J Mitchell “Panchito,” a restored World War II bomber….
