The No. 4 most-wanted fugitive in Canada has been arrested in British Columbia in connection with the 2024 shooting death of a 22-year-old soccer player at a Winnipeg sports complex, police say.
Tresor Horimbere was arrested on July 30 in Langley, B.C., with the help of the RCMP’s Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit, Winnipeg police said in an Aug. 4 press release.
The 24-year-old suspect was returned to Winnipeg this week by officers with the Manitoba Integrated Violent Offender Apprehension Unit, and he now faces a first-degree murder charge for the shooting death of Mohamed Yusuf Abdullahi.
Horimbere has been included in Canada’s Top 25 most wanted list as part of the BOLO Program, which stands for “be on the lookout,” since October 2025. A reward of up to $100,000 was offered for information leading to his arrest….
