The Department of Justice (DOJ) announced grand jury indictments against 10 foreign nationals who allegedly registered and voted illegally in Minnesota in the 2022, 2024, and 2026 elections.
The suspects are all lawful permanent residents from various countries ranging from Bosnia to Brazil to Ghana.
This kind of fraud “erodes public trust in our electoral system, and it’s vital that we do everything we can to restore that trust,” Attorney General Todd Blanche said at a press conference in Minnesota on Sept. 30.
“The most basic way the Department of Justice can accomplish this restoration of trust is by working to make sure the only people voting in an election in the United States are American citizens who are eligible to vote,” he said….
