Owners of INMO’s AI-powered smart glasses are being warned against wearing them because the devices pose a potential burn hazard.
INMO AIR3 Smart Glasses have been recalled across Canada and the United States this week due to a potential for overheating on the left side during prolonged use, Health Canada said in an advisory.
The recall is a joint effort between Health Canada, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission, and INMO International Technology Limited.
The company had not received any reports of injury in Canada or the United States as of Sept. 17 but there were 10 overheating incidents south of the border, the advisory said….
