A Democratic state lawmaker in California confirmed on Sept. 22 the arrest of one of her staff members by federal immigration officers the previous week at a Las Vegas airport.
Ho-Yin Mo is a field representative at the district office of San Francisco Assemblywoman Catherine Stefani, according to the statement provided to The Epoch Times.
“My message today is simple: I am respectfully calling for Ho Yin Mo’s release as soon as possible,” Stefani said in the statement. “Mo is a selfless public servant and a valued, legal employee of the California State Legislature serving our San Francisco and Bay Area communities.”…
