Fox News Media announced Thursday that Fox Business anchor Maria Bartiromo will be departing the network, effective immediately.
“We thank Maria for her work over the last 12 1/2 years and wish her all the best on her next chapter,” the network said in a statement, without elaborating.
Her last Fox Business show, “Mornings with Maria,” was on Sept. 3. The show will transition to a new program, “Mornings with FOX Business,” with rotating hosts, the company said.
And Bartiromo’s popular “Sunday Morning Futures” program on the network will now be hosted by Jason Chaffetz, a former Republican House lawmaker who became a Fox News host, it said….
