An Ontario judge has ruled out a jail sentence for billionaire businessman Frank Stronach.
Ontario Superior Court Justice Anne Molloy says she has not yet decided what sentence she will hand down to Stronach on the historical charge of indecent assault but that he will not face imprisonment.
The judge is expected to rule on the sentence in December.
At today’s sentencing hearing, prosecutors sought six months behind bars for the auto parts mogul.
Crown attorney Jelena Vlacic said there are several aggravating factors in the case, including that the indecent assault was “sudden and disorienting” and had an enduring impact on the complainant….
