Ottawa, Kiev Sign 100-Year Security Pact Focused on Drones and Defence as Zelenskyy Visits Canada

Canada and Ukraine have signed a declaration establishing a 100-year partnership that includes co-operation on the development and production of drones for both countries.
Prime Minister Mark Carney and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed the 100 Year Partnership Declaration after meeting on Sept. 10 in Calgary.
The agreement follows Ottawa’s launch of a national drone marketplace for the Canadian Armed Forces in July, Carney told reporters during a press conference after signing the declaration with Zelenskyy.
Modelled after Ukraine’s Brave1 system, the digital Defence Drone Initiative Marketplace is intended to expand domestic manufacturing, including the production of millions of drones, and reduce reliance on global supply chains….
