In an update to the growing legal fight in Alaska’s Senate race, Michael Heyman, the U.S. Attorney for the District of Alaska, told reporters that his recusal from the case has been rescinded. The case is in relation to an alleged scheme to mislead voters by putting two candidates with the same name on the ballot. The U.S. Department of Justice has also filed an amendment to its complaint, seeking to delay certification of election results until officials can determine whether the alleged scheme changed the outcome of the election. …
