Trump Approves Firing Squad Execution for Fort Hood Gunman Nidal Hasan

President Donald Trump has approved a firing squad execution for convicted terrorist Nidal Malik Hasan, who was sentenced to death for the 2009 Fort Hood massacre, a Pentagon official said Monday.
U.S. born Hasan killed 13 people and an unborn child and wounded 32 others during the Islamist terror attack at the Army base in Texas.
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth recommended the execution, which is to be carried out by a U.S. Army firing squad, Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell said in a statement on X.
Parnell described the victims of the shooting as unarmed American soldiers.
